We are thrilled to announce that Nashville Women’s Football team will be making its debut in the Tennessee State University (TSU) Homecoming Parade this Saturday, October 5! This marks an exciting moment for our team as we proudly represent women’s football in one of Nashville’s most cherished traditions.
The TSU Homecoming Parade is a vibrant celebration that lights up historic Jefferson Street in North Nashville. This beloved event, held on the Saturday before the homecoming game, begins at 9 AM and showcases the spirit and pride of TSU and the local community. The parade is known for its lively energy, featuring impressive marching bands, high school dance teams, local businesses, and spirited sororities and fraternities. We’re honored to be a part of it all, joining alongside other campus organizations and businesses from across the city.
As Nashville Women’s Football rolls through Jefferson Street, we’ll be representing not just our team but the growth of women’s football in Nashville. We’re excited to connect with our fans, make new friends, and spread the word about our upcoming season, including our big game at Nissan Stadium on November 17!
To cap off the homecoming season, join us at Nissan Stadium as our Big Blue Fightin’ Tigers take on the Panthers of Eastern Illinois at five o’clock in the evening. It’s sure to be a day packed with fun, community spirit, and football! For more information on all homecoming activities, click here.
