Nashville Women’s Football made a bold statement in Week 2 of the WFA season, overpowering the East Tennessee Valkyrie with a 40–14 win that showcased their depth, versatility, and determination. From explosive runs to shutdown defense, the Music City Mizfits controlled the game from the first whistle.

🏃‍♀️ Ground Game Unleashed

The Mizfits’ rushing attack was nothing short of unstoppable, racking up over 400 yards on the ground. Star running back Dennisha Mobley led the charge with 126 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries, punishing defenders with every touch. She was joined by Rane Moffitt (9 carries, 80 yards, 1 TD), Malea Robertson (8 carries, 80 yards, 1 TD), and Kayla Floyd (10 carries, 60 yards, 1 TD), each carving up the Valkyrie defense in their own way.

Quarterbacks Maren Kreid added 60 yards and a rushing touchdown of her own, while Holli Daily punched in a short-yardage score, highlighting the team’s diverse rushing attack.

🔒 Defense with Attitude

While the offense dazzled, the defense dominated. Linebacker Malea Robertson continued her two-way excellence with 5 solo tackles and a tackle for loss. Breniah Southall had a standout game with a fumble recovery, 3 solo tackles, and a tackle for loss, while Taleya Turner, Kayla Floyd, and Holli Daily all made key stops in the backfield.

The Mizfits defense swarmed to the ball all game, limiting the Valkyrie’s ability to string together drives and forcing turnovers that shifted momentum early.

🔁 Special Teams Spark

On special teams, the Mizfits kept the pressure on with solid returns by Robertson (32 yards), Jenika Watts (27 yards), and Rane Moffitt (20 yards), consistently setting the offense up with great field position.

🔥 Team Effort, Team Win

This was a true team victory. Every phase of the game contributed to the Mizfits’ 40–14 statement win, and the performance reflects a squad that’s locked in and hungry for more. With multiple players contributing on both sides of the ball, the Mizfits are proving they’re not just deep—they’re dangerous.
