The Music City Mizfits are excited to announce that we’ve been invited to play in the Juice Bowl this Thanksgiving Day in Louisville, Kentucky! This game is extra special for us because the Juice Bowl isn’t just another date on the calendar—it’s part of our history. Back on Thanksgiving Day in 2015, the Mizfits took the field for the very first time at this very event. To come full circle and be invited back for our third appearance is both an honor and a celebration of how far we’ve come as a team.
The Juice Bowl is more than just one game—it’s an all-day festival centered around football and community. Thousands of fans pack into Louisville each year to enjoy a stacked lineup of games, featuring teams from youth leagues all the way up to men’s and women’s semi-pro programs. Football takes center stage, but that’s not all the day has to offer. From the Juice Bowl Parade to the incredible food vendors serving up Thanksgiving flavors (and more) to live music performances that keep the energy high between games, the Juice Bowl is a true holiday tradition.
For the Mizfits, this is about more than competition—it’s about representing women’s football on one of the biggest stages in the region, sharing the field with other talented teams, and inspiring the next generation of athletes in the stands.
